Ty Lue says Allen Iverson can come coach with him (Please let this happen)

Championship-winning Cleveland Cavaliers coach Ty Lue was pestered by a TMZ reporter at an airport, and rather than tell the guy to leave him alone, he humored him. And I for one am glad he did, because it gave us an idea that needs to happen immediately. Ty Lue said that Allen Iverson can come coach with him in Cleveland.

Yes. All of the yes. Allen Iverson as a coach would be incredible. And I don't just mean because of all the easy "Practice?!" jokes. Talk about a guy who could give your players (especially young stars like Kyrie Irving) a unique perspective on the game. But even more selfishly, I want this to happen because Allen Iverson has been having a moment lately, and it's been a nice reminder of how great it is to have him in the culture. First there was his amazing, humble, emotional Hall of Fame speech, in which he notably revealed Ty Lue to be a friend:

Then he went on The Late Show and crossed up Stephen Colbert.

The sports world is more fun when Allen Iverson is in it. Please, PLEASE let this happen.
