Watch: Horrifying moment infant falls down an escalator

A CCTV camera caught terrifying footage of a toddler tumbling down an escalator at a Chinese mall.

According to reports, the baby’s parents ran a restaurant in the mall and apparently were too busy to attend to their infant. The 9-month-old can be seen wandering alone in a walker. Eventually, her seat gets too close to an escalator and she tumbles, head first, down the stairs.

Luckily, a man noticed the baby and jumped from the downward escalator to her aid. The man named as Wang Zihao, can be seen catching the infant and carrying her back to her mother.

Amazingly, the child came away from the incident with only minor injuries.
