Day after Stormy Daniels '60 Minutes' interview, Trump tweets about fake news
President Trump tweeted about fake news early on Monday morning, the day after CBS News’ ‘60 Minutes’ interview with Stormy Daniels, the former adult film star who alleges that she had an affair with Trump in 2006.
“So much Fake News. Never been more voluminous or more inaccurate,” the president wrote. “But through it all, our country is doing great!”

In another tweet, Trump said, “The economy is looking really good. It has been many years that we have seen these kind of numbers. The underlying strength of companies has perhaps never been better.”

He has denied having an affair with Daniels and refrained from discussing the $130,000 she reportedly received in 2016 from his attorney, Michael Cohen.
In her interview, she addressed such topics. Daniels also mentioned that in 2011, she was threatened.
“A guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.’ And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, ’That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom,’” Daniels recalled.
