South Korea, US hold training drills to remove North Korea’s WMDs

South Korean and U.S. forces conducted joint training drills for infiltrating North Korea and removing weapons of mass destruction.

The drills, called “Warrior Strike” were held north of Seoul at Camp Stanley according to South Korea’s Yonhap News.

The U.S. 2nd Infantry Division wrote on Facebook last Friday that Gen. Vincent K Brooks, who commands U.S. Forces Korea and South Korea’s chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Jung Kyung-doo, visited Camp Stanley.

The move comes as consequence of North Korea’s recent actions to develop their missile and nuclear programs.

President Trump has repeatedly warned the rogue nation against provoking the United States.
