Trump touts achievements and promises to build the wall in Thanksgiving tweet

President Trump took to Twitter Thursday morning and delivered a Thanksgiving Day message.

“HAPPY THANKSGIVING, your Country is starting to do really well,” Trump tweeted, “Jobs coming back, highest Stock Market EVER, Military getting really strong, we will build the WALL, V.A. taking care of our Vets, great Supreme Court Justice, RECORD CUT IN REGS, lowest unemployment in 17 years….!”

The president’s tweet drew a mixed response with some suggesting that former President Obama deserves credit for the current economy.

“Obama left the WH with the economy on autopilot. That’s why you’re able to golf every day and be a do-nothing President,” said one tweeter.

“Stop taking credit for things you aren’t helping!” wrote another Twitter user.

There were also many who reacted favorably to the president’s tweet.

“Even though I disagree with most of your politics, I want to take the time to thank you for stepping up to be a leader,” tweeted one of his supporters.
