Lindsey Vonn wants justice after nude photos of her, Tiger leak

Updated

Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn is gearing up for a legal battle after she and former boyfriend Tiger Woods fell victim to a nude photo leak.

Vonn, through her team of representatives, fervently condemned whoever hacked into her phone — where the private pictures were located — and released the images on a website.

"It is an outrageous and despicable invasion of privacy for anyone to steal and illegally publish private intimate photos," Vonn's rep said in a statement to People.

"Lindsey will take all necessary and appropriate legal action to protect and enforce her rights and interests. She believes the individuals responsible for hacking her private photos as well as the websites that encourage this detestable conduct should be prosecuted to the fullest extent under the law."

The leaked photos of Vonn, 32, and Woods, 41, were taken a few years ago, when the star athletes were still in a relationship, according to People. They dated between 2013 and 2015.

Woods' phone was not hacked into, and the private photo of him that was leaked was on Vonn's phone, according to TMZ, which was the first to report the hack.

Vonn and Woods were two of several celebrity victims whose nude photos were posted to the website in the latest hacking scandal. Miley Cyrus, Kristen Stewart, Katharine McPhee and Stella Maxwell also had intimate pictures stolen and exposed to the public, according to celebrity gossip website.

McPhee and Woods have both already hired lawyers, with the golf legend employing high-profile attorney Marty Singer. Woods' attorney has threatened to sue the website if the photos aren't removed, TMZ reported, and McPhee's lawyers is said to have sent a letter featuring a similar warning.
