'Happy birthday Popsicle!' Jenna Bush Hager shares intimate family photo for George W. Bush's birthday

Jenna Bush Hager's father, former President George W. Bush, turned 71 on Thursday, and she marked the occasion on Instagram with an incredibly intimate photo of her parents cradling Hager and her twin sister as newborns.

"Happy Birthday Popsicle. Thanks for lifting me up since birth," Hager wrote alongside the photo showing her and her sister, Barbara Bush, as babies being held by their parents, George and Laura Bush.

Hager, who is seen on the right taking a wide open-mouthed yawn, jokingly added the afterthought, "(PS you were more interesting than this yawn!)"

This special tribute arrives just one week after the 35-year-old mom and TODAY Show host shared a funny family memory live on television, during which she admitted to her co-hosts and viewers that she and her sister had male nicknames after being mistaken for boys as children.

"Somebody came up to my parents and said, 'What cute boys,'" Hager recalled during the live broadcast. "And my parents were the type that just played along with everything. And they were like, 'They are cute!'"

But when the stranger inquired about the names of the two adorable little boys, both George and Laura Bush kept playing along.

"They were like, 'This is Benny and this one's Beauregard,'" Hager added.
