Barack Obama reportedly thinks President Donald Trump is 'nothing but a bullsh***r'

Former President Barack Obama has maintained a fairly low profile since leaving office in January -- but behind closed doors, he isn't holding any punches when it comes to his thoughts on the current administration.

According to PEOPLE, Obama told friends on the night of the November 8 election how he really felt about Donald Trump.

"He's nothing but a bullsh***r," Obama said about then-President-elect Donald Trump.

The sources also claim Obama was struck by the sudden "respect" and "admiration" Trump shared about Obama during their post-election White House meeting, especially given the harsh criticism and conspiracy theories Trump had lobbed at him over the years.

When asked if the former president's opinion of Trump has changed since he took office, the source said, "it hasn't gotten any better."

During a recent interview with former President John F. Kennedy's grandson, Jack Schlossberg, Obama took a slight dig at President Trump's decision to bomb Syria.

Obama, reflecting on his time in office, said the restraint it took not to bomb Syria "required the most political courage."

Obama has largely held back from entering the political fray in the last four months, but he has used his political voice to advocate on behalf of Obamacare, which Congress has begun to repeal and replace.

During a closed-door meeting last month, the former president allegedly remarked that Obamacare has never been more popular, and that it's "more popular than the current president."
