Shocking video surfaces of Delta pilot hitting passenger
A Delta pilot has returned to work after video surfaced showing him allegedly smacking a passenger at an airport in Atlanta.
TMZ reports the event occurred on April 21, when two women reportedly began fighting shortly after landing.
The video shows the pilot attempting to step in, allegedly grabbing one woman's arm and hitting her before walking away.
A Delta rep tells TMZ the pilot was immediately removed from duty as the airline conducted an investigation.
The rep goes on to say, "The pilot has since been returned to work as our investigation found that his actions deescalated an altercation between passengers on the jetway floor during deplaning."
The women are said to have known each other and had an altercation on the plane as well and were later escorted away by another Delta employee.
According to TMZ, neither woman intended to press charges against anyone involved.
