Report: Hunter Biden dating late brother Beau's widow
Moving on with life after a significant loss is often a struggle.
That has certainly been the case for the Biden family. In 2015, former Vice President Joe Biden lost his son Beau to brain cancer.
In the time since, Hallie, Beau's widow, and Hunter, his brother have found comfort in one another's company and recently announced they are in a relationship.
Hunter is currently separated from wife Kathleen, with whom he has three children.
Hunter told Page Six:
"Hallie and I are incredibly lucky to have found the love and support we have for each other in such a difficult time, and that's been obvious to the people who love us most. We've been so lucky to have family and friends who have supported us every step of the way."
Joe Biden told the publication that he and his wife fully support the relationship.
He also commented, "We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness."
Joe, Beau, and Hunter were incredibly close, having weathered a great family tragedy together.
In late 1972, Joe lost his first wife and 13-month-old daughter in a car crash, notes the Washington Post.
