Law professors file ethics complaint over Kellyanne Conway's 'lies'

Kellyanne Conway appears to be upsetting her fellow lawyers and now her colleagues are speaking out in the name of the law.

Fifteen law professors from across the country filed a complaint against Donald Trump's counselor claiming Conway's "professional misconduct" brings shame to the profession.

In a letter obtained by the Washington Post that had been sent to the Washington, D.C. Office of Disciplinary Counsel of the Board of Professional Responsibility, professors from top law schools such as Yale, Georgetown, Fordham and Duke list the White House Counsel's lies.

One of the lies listed is the non-existent "Bowling Green Massacre" used to justify Trump's ban against travelers from seven predominantly Muslim countries.

Another listed is Conway's defense of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer's false statement about the attendance at Donald Trump's inauguration, describing the claim as "alternative facts."

Conway graduated from George Washington University Law School and is currently suspended from the Washington, D.C. bar for non-payment of dues.
