Officer pulls man over, helps him tie his tie

When a student was pulled over for speeding, he expected a ticket and a serious inconvenience -- but what he got was a kind (but unexpected) favor.

A video shared by Menomonie Wisconsin Police Department shows an officer approaching a man in a suit. As he explains his situation, you can tell that he is frazzled.

"I have to get a tie tied. I have a presentation and thought my buddy was home, but he's not, and I'm running behind," he said, according to Fox 9.

As the student pulls out his license and registration, the officer asks for the tie and explains how to tie an appropriate knot.

After a few tries, the officer sends the student on his way, saving him a trip to his friend's house.

Hopefully the student thanked the officer for saving him from both traffic and fashion troubles.
