Two Texas students shocked everyone when they put on a skit that portrayed the assassination of President-elect Donald Trump.

According to the San Antonio Express-News, two students performed a skit titled "The Assassination of Donald Trump" in their English class two weeks ago.

Parents who saw the skit claim that it featured one male student pretending to shoot another male student with a cellphone. The boy who was playing Trump fell to the floor and played dead.

According to the school district, students were required to submit their skits before acting them out and these students must have changed their skit at the last minute without telling anyone.

"The teacher had no idea this change had occurred until the students began to perform this in the classroom," Northside Independent School District Superintendent Brian Woods said in a statement according to New York Daily News. "The teacher stopped the student skit immediately when it became apparent that it was inappropriate."

Woods continued to say that the school district "does not condone the action of these students or anyone else who would threaten violence."

The names of the students and the teacher have not been released and there is no word on whether they will face punishment. According to parents, the teacher never appeared to be reprimanded.

"I don't understand how the teacher can repeat an apology and be right there back at work on Monday morning," Harold Bean said to the Express-News. "Though we understand she is apologetic, it does not make the situation right."
