Post-election Joe Biden jokes have everybody talking
In the wake of the presidential election and Donald Trump's upset victory, protests have sparked across the United States. Those on the Internet, too, have been showing their disdain over the decision -- though in a radically different way.
Biden has been a darling of online humor for a number of years. In 2014, The New Yorker reported that Biden has had a unique place in "the pop culture of American politics." He has guest starred on the popular show Parks and Recreation, and participated in a skit with Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Long before the election, jokes about Biden -- sometimes with Obama -- have swept the Internet:
Obama: Wave at the people, Joe.
Biden: IMMA POINT AT'EM
Obama: Please just wave.

The apparent friendship between Biden and President Obama, too, has been a beloved subject by some online:
Happy 55th, Barack! A brother to me, a best friend forever. pic.twitter.com/uNsxouTKOO

Now that some are unhappy with the election results, there's a new twists to these jokes: Biden trying to foil Trump's presidency.

The memes don't portray Biden inflicting actual damage to Trump -- merely pranking him. He has not spoken out about the jokes as of Monday, but he may find solace knowing he has provided humor to many.
