Senior Trump adviser tells CNN: 'It will take a miracle for us to win'

CNN's Senior White House Correspondent Jim Acosta reported Tuesday night that a senior adviser to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said, "It will take a miracle for us to win."

The senior adviser from Trump's inner circle went on to say that the billionaire businessman was "in such a deep hole after the release of the Access Hollywood tape, it was viewed inside the campaign that he was going to lose by a wide margin."

However Acosta went on to say the fact that Trump was able to close the gap over the last few weeks was seen as a major positive inside the campaign.
