Isn't it the worst when you hit send to an email and instantly regret it?

Maybe it was a love poem that wasn't meant to be seen, or the overly nasty email you sent your coworker.

Sometimes our fingers, and backs of our minds, just have a way of making our lives miserable.

Well, the Gmail app is about to become your best friend by finally adding an "undo button" to its latest iOS app update. The button is already available on Google's desktop version.

On the desktop, you get 30 seconds to un-send that love torn poem, or revise that nasty email.

So, you can take those 30 seconds and really think about if "getting it out of your system" is really worth all the repercussions that are bound to come with hitting send.

There's a catch, though: mobile makes it trickier.

On the iOS app, you only have five seconds to retract your choices so your reflexes better be good!
