Clinton casts vote at New York polling place

This voter is definitely with her.

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton arrived in Chappaqua, New York, around 8 a.m. ET Tuesday to cast her ballot in the 2016 election, shaking hands with supporters at her polling place afterwards.

Earlier Tuesday morning, a Clinton campaign official told NBC News: "We are feeling confident about the campaign we've run and our candidate's message to the American people. Looking forward to seeing what today brings."

The mood was "jubilant on the flight home last night after an incredible day," the official added.

It wasn't immediately clear when Clinton's opponent, Donald Trump, would cast his vote.

Vice President Biden cast his vote in Wilmington, Delaware, just after 8 a.m., wile President Barack Obama had not voted yet as of early Tuesday.
