Man dressed in Freddy Krueger costume shoots 5 people at party

It was a 'Nightmare on Elm Street' come to life -- an uninvited guest dressed as the fictional serial killer Freddy Krueger shot five people at a Halloween party Sunday night in San Antonio, Texas, according to the Associated Press.

Sergeant Jesse Salame of the San Antonio Police department says the shooting was likely prompted by an argument between partygoers, one of whom proceeded to open fire.

Those who were wounded in the shooting early Sunday morning were treated and released from hospitals shortly thereafter.

However, the suspect fled the scene before authorities arrived, and reportedly still remains at large as of Monday.

Hopefully, we won't be seeing a sequel.
