Tossman asked the teen to turn down the music and take off the headphones, according to the Daily News.

Penzo put the headphones on the floor. As Tossman was reaching to pick them up, the teen allegedly started punching him in the face.

Chancellor Carmen Farina confirmed in a news conference the student was arrested and the principal was attacked and that he's recovering at his home Tuesday. However, she did not provide any other details.
