'Half-headed' man arrested for attempted murder

A Florida man who is known as "half-headed" because of his skull deformity is facing first degree attempted murder and arson charges.

According to Miami Police, 31-year-old Carlos Rodriguez set his mattress on fire in a duplex that had two people inside.

The arrest report says the fire was deliberately set and threatened the lives of duplex occupants.

Rodriguez was given a $20,000 bond when he appeared in court.

The "half-headed man" has been popular on the internet since 2012 when he posted a YouTube video explaining how he lost half of his head in a car accident.

Rodriguez was arrested for allegedly soliciting prostitution the same year, and according to police forms, they did not use his name in the arrest -- just a description that says "half a head."
