Elderly people tackle intruder, hold him until cops arrive
Three elderly people in the United Kingdom caught and detained a fugitive on the loose by themselves.
Peter Mueller, 70, was visiting the home of his mother-in-law who had recently died, when he allegedly saw a man inside.
Seeing the man in the home filled Mueller with adrenaline.
He tackled the intruder, a man named Stephen Ward, immediately.
Adly Gorrafa, 81, and Sheila Gorrafa, 78, joined Mueller.
The hardcore trio have been awarded a Derbyshire Constabulary Award.
