As we head into a new month, take some time to look back at the best photos from the last week of September's biggest stories.

The first presidential debate took place on Monday in New York as Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump continue to campaign. We also saw severe weather including wildfires in California, and tragic events from a mall shooting in Washington to the devastating train crash in Hoboken, New Jersey.
