The internet can't stop talking about Trump's sniffles during the debate

Updated

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton took the stage for the first presidential debate on Monday night to battle for the future of the United States, but the first thing the internet erupted over had nothing to do with what they said.

While Clinton attacked Trump during the early moments of the debate for what she called "Trumped-up trickle down," all the internet could talk about is what was seemingly trickling down Trump's nose.

The GOP nominee seemed to sniffle repeatedly, sparking a huge reaction online immediately.

See some of the wildest reactions:

Former Democratic candidate Howard Dean went so far as to suggest that the sniffling might be indicative of a drug problem.

"Does Trump have a deviated septum or allergies?," said @Staten_TheFacts as the billionaire businessman appeared to sniff his nose throughout his opening statement.

Throughout the 2016 election the former secretary of state's health has been called into question, however tonight many online have started asking if Trump is feeling under the weather.

One user on Twitter named @loricolan asked "Is something wrong with Donald's health?"

Trump recently appeared on Doctor Oz and revealed the results of a recent physical examination.
