Much of this week's biggest news came from around the United States. In New York City and New Jersey, several bombs were planted and detonated leading to a manhunt, shootout and the eventual arrest of perpetrator, Ahmad Khan Rahami.
In North Carolina, protests erupted this week after the death of Keith Lamont Scott, a black man who was shot by police. A state of emergency has been declared for the city of Charlotte.
Elsewhere, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton continued their campaigns, a new leader took over the UK's Independence Party, and migrants in Greece continued to wait for asylum in abysmal conditions.
