A school may soon have an after school Satan club

A Seattle Public School may soon have an after school Satan Club.

The Satanic Temple of Seattle proposed the program.

A lawyer hired by the Mount Vernon School district said that if the elementary school allows one organization to use the school property to host events, it must do the same for all organizations, regardless of whether they are religious or secular.

The district policy allows community groups to use the facilities and the school could face litigation if they deny the application.

Mount Vernon School District is one of nine districts across the country that the Satanic Temple has targeted as a location for its after school programs, because those districts all also host a Good News Bible Club.
