Anthony Weiner accused of sexting with 15-year-old girl

Former New York congressman Anthony Weiner was allegedly involved in a sexting relationship with a 15-year-old girl, The Daily Mail reports.

The digital affair lasted months, with Weiner and the high school sophomore exchanging graphic messages. The British paper said the exchanges also included Skype conversations in which Weiner asked her to dress up and role play. The girl appears in a video interview with the Mail in which she details Weiner's "rape fantasies."

"He had some rape fantasies," she told the Mail. "It would just be him showing up at my house when my dad was out of town, and just start undressing me, being forceful, asking me if I want to be dominated, strange questions."

Weiner did not deny the relationship. "I have repeatedly demonstrated terrible judgement about the people I have communicated with online and the things I have sent. I am filled with regret and heartbroken for those I have hurt," he said in a statement to the Mail.

Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton's aid and Weiner's wife, filed for divorce from the 51-year-old former congressman less than a month ago, after photos surfaced that indicated Weiner was still engaging in sexting with other women. In this case, he sent a woman a shirtless photo seated beside his and Abedin's infant son.

Weiner's history of sending lecherous texts to women who were not his wife extends back to 2011. However, the teen girl in the Mail's report is the first minor to be on the receiving end of Weiner's sexts. Weiner has admitted to having a private conversation on Twitter with a 17-year-old girl, but their messages were found to be platonic in nature.

The 15-year-old girl messaged Weiner on Twitter in January, beginning their correspondence. Said correspondence quickly took a turn for the explicit and migrated to other messaging services like Facebook Messenger, Kik and Confide, which deletes messages after being read and disallows the taking of screen shots.

According to an e-mail she sent Weiner that was obtained by the Mail, she claimed she wanted to write a book about him. "I was studying you — for a book of course. You were my Hannibal Lecter," she wrote.
