Alleged Burglar Accused Of Painting Victim's Dog Purple

A man accused of burglarizing a home in Massachusetts is also believed to have painted the resident dog purple.

According to a post by the Oak Bluffs Police Department, on September 3, officers responded to "a report of a stolen motor vehicle that crashed at the end of the road with the suspect fleeing from the scene on foot."

Minutes later, a separate call came in from a house where the resident found "a ground level window forced in."

In addition to some missing items, the person pointed out that the "...dog had been painted with purple paint."

Officers were eventually able to track down and arrest a man named Felix Reagan. He was deemed a suspect in both the incidents.

When officers searched him, they found "...prescription pills, a driver's license and credit cards that were stolen from the...house break-in."

He also reportedly "...had purple paint on his pants which was consistent with the paint that was found on the dog..."

Reagan faces numerous charges including breaking and entering with the intent to commit felony, cruelty to animals, and larceny of a motor vehicle.
