Trump wears a tiny jacket to have dinner with the queen and Twitter can't handle it

Donald Trump and his family are currently in the U.K. visiting with the royal family, and although they're doing their best to fit in, the trip hasn't gone without a little controversy.

At the state banquet that took place at Buckingham Palace on Monday, June 3, the president was quickly criticized for placing his hand on the queen's back, while his daughter Ivanka was slammed for not putting her hand over her heart while the U.S. national anthem played. The biggest elephant in the room, however, was Donald Trump's tiny jacket.

For the white-tie event, Trump donned a black suit with tails, a white waistcoat and a matching bow-tie, similarly to other guests including Prince Charles and Prince William. However, Trump's jacket appears to be slightly cropped and just way too small. Surely his intention was to dress appropriately, but the ill-fitting coat is almost laughable.

The president is often criticized for his poorly fitting suits with baggy pants and extra-long sleeves, which somehow, his banquet look still managed to include.

On Twitter, people were confused by the look, even calling it "sloppy."

Melania Trump, on the other hand, looked stunning in an all-white sleeveless Dior gown with an illusion neckline and matching white gloves. Her hair was pulled back into a simple, but sophisticated up-do.

Earlier in the day, the Trumps took a tour of Westminster Abbey and had tea with the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall at Clarence House, where fans noticed Camilla may have given a cheeky clue into her thoughts on the visit.
