Royal family releases new Christmas cards -- and Prince Louis is melting our hearts

Updated

It's their first Christmas as a family of five!

The royal family has released three new photos to celebrate the holiday season, all of which were shared on Twitter Friday morning. The first photo of the Cambridges was shot by royal photographer Matt Porteous at the family's home Anmer Hall in Norfolk, featuring all three kids.

The casual shot (they're wearing jeans!) shows a beaming Kate, with 7-month-old Prince Louis in her arms. Meanwhile, Prince William has his arms around Princess Charlotte, 3, as Prince George (in adorable Hunter wellies!) dons a cheeky pose behind him.

And while social media was quick to comment on how adorable the shot was, Porteous' photograph is one of the very few we have of England's youngest prince. We can't believe how big he's gotten!

Porteous is also behind some of the family's most iconic shots, including this adorable one of Prince Louis from his christening.

Buckingham Palace also released new photographs on behalf of the rest of the royal family. One shows Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall in the garden of Clarence House over the summer, while another portrays Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan on the eve of their wedding.
