Trumps mum on social media about 13th wedding anniversary

The First Couple marked their 13th wedding anniversary on Monday -- but you’d never know it from the Twitterverse.

Publicly, neither made a peep about it. Or, for that matter, a tweet.

It’s noteworthy since Donald Trump uses social media to express anything and everything that’s on his mind. It appears that waxing poetic with public displays of affection is not swirling around his 71-year-old gray matter.

The President launched some social-media salvos on Jan. 22, including one to diss Democrats.

“Big win for Republicans as Democrats cave on Shutdown,” 45 tweeted.

Which would have been a perfectly cute and romantic segue into a tweet about a big day at home with the Mrs.

But no.

For her part, First Lady Melania Trump, 47, had nothing to say on social media on Monday.

Nothing.

And it wasn’t because she was saving up her social-media energy to discuss a night out on the town to celebrate their 13th. The Trumps didn’t go out on Monday to celebrate with a fancy dinner, The Washington Post reported. Or even for a Happy Meal.

The Trumps’ silence about their personal relationship -- recently rocked by claims of an affair by porn star Stormy Daniels -- stands in stark contrast to the previous administrations on both sides of the aisle.

There was something sweetly revealing about Barack Obama’s lovey-dovey tweet in 2016 to commemorate his and Michelle’s 24th wedding anniversary.

“Side-by-side for 24 years,” Obama tweeted. “Here’s to many more. #HappyAnniversary.”

Ditto George W. Bush’s Instagram post two months ago: “Happy 40th anniversary and undisclosed birthday to the love of my life, @laurawbush.”

Not that there’s anything wrong with being a couple who refrains from PDA.

To each their own. Let’s see if Cupid inspires 45 and Melania on Valentine’s Day.
