Prince William and Duchess Kate will reportedly be bringing Prince George to school themselves

Last month, we learned that Prince George will be attending Thomas's Battersea School in London in the fall. And if you assumed his proud parents, Prince William and Duchess Kate, wouldn't be there for drop-off, you're mistaken.

According to the Daily Mail, the royal parents intend to drive him to school each and every morning to maintain a level of normalcy for the three year old (and it's not a short drive, either). As one source put it, "It's very important to both of them that George enjoys as normal a childhood as possible, particularly as he settles into a new school, and for them this includes dropping him off at the school gates."

As is the case with most parents, conflicts will inevitably come up -- especially with Kate and William being the busy bees that they are -- so in those instances, the children's nanny will reportedly step in.

This news comes one day after Prince William opened up about changing the way royals parent. He told CALMzine he wants to ditch the "stiff upper lip" strategy, saying, "Catherine and I are clear that we want both George and Charlotte to grow up feeling able to talk about their emotions and feelings."

For what it's worth, we approve.
