Tiffany & Co. cancels 'Holiday Window Spectacular' due to 'post-election activity' nearby

Tiffany & Co.'s iconic annual holiday display will go on!

A local TV station reported the designer jewelry company had canceled its "Holiday Window Spectacular" due to security concerns because of Donald Trump's "post-election activity" nearby.

Indeed, a spokesman from Tiffany's said Monday's unveiling was canceled, but clarified that the holiday show itself will be there for all to see.

The FIfth Avenue flagship store will feature sparkling vignettes of New York City at the holidays, and the facade will be illuminated as planned.

Concerns about security are being raised as the landmark store is located just steps away from the Trump Tower where Donald Trump is selecting his administration and where protesters have gathered for days since he won the election.

Mayor Bill de Blasio is expected to address security concerns not only about the situation on Fifth Avenue but also about the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, which ISIS magazine called an "excellent target."
