Naeem Khan delights crowd with unconventional bridal color

Naeem Khan's Fall 2017 bridal show in New York City Friday was an intimate, glamorous affair.

Guests were greeted with mini champagne bottles before taking in Khan's breathtaking creations -- and they were even delighted with an end-of-show runway surprise (wait for it -- or scroll through the slideshow below to find out).

As everything from classic ball gowns to straight, sleek dresses adorned with the most perfect of details made their way down the runway, you could literally feel the sense of awe among the crowd. Not to mention the of-the-moment flower crown-esque veils that almost stole the spotlight.

Perhaps the most extreme element of surprise was saved for last -- as bright yellow gowns and matching veils closed the show.

How's that for a fashion risk?
