Duchess Kate and Prince William dress down for visit to Canadian rainforest

Rain or shine -- she's not afraid to tough it out!

Duchess Kate explored the wonders of Canada's Great Bear Rainforest with her husband Prince William on Day 3 of their tour on Tuesday.

The 34-year-old royal dressed down in Zara Jeans, a Holland & Holland jacket and her trusty pair of Penelope Chilvers boots. Kate has worn the 12-year-old boots on several occasions, the last time being during their trip to Bhutan back in April.

Underneath the safari-inspired outerwear, she wore a teal blue sweater complete with a plaid button-down.

Later that day, the mother to Prince George and Prince Charlotte sported a traditional vest from the indigenous Heiltsuk people.

The Duke of Cambridge also took some style cues from his beautiful wife, opting for a pair of khaki slacks and a blue sweater with a button-down shirt of his own.

The royal couple braved unfavorable weather conditions during their visit to the remote location, which stretches some 250 miles along the coastline of British Columbia. Prince William even managed to crack a joke -- he claimed the rainforest, "wouldn't be authentic without the rain."

After a peaceful stroll through the forest, local children gave the couple a traditional welcome with an adorable dance performance.

Yesterday, the pair took a trip to Vancouver where they were greeted by a massive crowd. Hundreds of people turned out to greet the famous pair at the famous Jack Poole Plaza.

Duchess Kate's fashion in Canada has lived up to high expectations -- and more! She has made heads repeatedly turn over her stunning outfits, like the bright blue Jenny Packham dress she wore last week when she touched down on Canadian soil.
