Monkey rescued from a street vendor is as spoiled as he can be

Before you go, we thought you'd like these...

Max the marmoset is one of the smallest monkeys in the world.

Right now, he's far from home.

Marmosets are typically found in South America, but Max hails from Bangkok.

He was found living as a pet of a street vendor, but the Wildlife Friends Foundation of Thailand stepped in to rescue him.

Experts think he is only three or four months old -- and he should still be living in the jungle with his mom.

Thankfully, he's in relatively good condition aside from being little underweight.

Now he's as spoiled as he could be, getting 24/7 care and snuggling with his toys and blankie.
