Single mom builds 1-year-old daughter her dream home

Alexis Smith is a 21-year-old single mother, a college student and a survivor of abuse from Murphy, Texas.

She is dedicated to giving her 1-year-old daughter, Nova, a wonderful life.

A photo of Nova's adorable playhouse has gone viral, and with good reason -- it's simply extravagant.

Smith told BuzzFeed News that she found the playhouse while she was shopping online one night.

"Her grandma had already gotten the car and a kitchen for her birthday," she said to BuzzFeed News. "So I decided, why not give her a full setup?"

She added that she wants to show her daughter what she is supposed to have on her own at an early age so she knows she can be independent when she gets older.

Smith seems like a really remarkable mother.

"Once she was born, I vowed to myself and to her that I would always give her the world so nobody else would have to, and no one could ever throw in her face what they've ever done for her, no matter what," Smith told BuzzFeed News.
