Monique Lhuillier's Spring 2017 collection is sure to take your breath away

Monique Lhuillier is no stranger to dressing the stars (celebrities have even turned to her on their wedding days) -- and one look at her Spring 2017 collection tells you she'll be a style staple this upcoming awards season, as well.

As you'll notice, each ornate piece that hit the runway Tuesday was more beautiful than the next -- with delicate beading, sequins, feathers and lace decorating nearly every ensemble.

Our favorite embellishment? These precious little metallic hearts.

And while blush, black and white dominated the catwalk -- pops of lavender, light green and powder blue weren't far behind.

Not to mention that Lhuillier is one of a handful of designers this NYFW to make belts and ties a staple of her collection. We've made a mental note, designers, we promise!
