Girl finds heartbreaking note from son to mother in heaven

Losing a parent is devastating, and one girl discovered how someone else is coping with his loss.

Courtney Wiatt was taking senior photos when she discovered an incredibly heartbreaking note, and decided to post it on Twitter:

The note, from a son to his deceased mother, was attached to balloons. Apparently, he was writing to her for her birthday. He gave an update on his son, Nelson, and even included an imprint of Nelson's footprint.

He expressed that he wants to be a good husband and father; he wished his mom could see his family. "I hope you are having a great time up there," he wrote. He ended the note saying he misses and loves his mom -- and he's looking forward to speaking to her again one day.

Wiatt's tweet of the note has gone viral, gaining thousands of retweets and likes.
