Chocolate Coconut Almond Balls

I'm all about baked goods that taste amazing and are made with good-for-you ingredients so you're left feeling fab instead of weighed down. This loaf is the ultimate afternoon tea time treat or after dinner bite. It's made with just a handful of ingredients including almond flour, chocolate chips and bananas for some natural sweetness. It's moist, dense, chewy and you will love it!

Almond Flour: Almond flour is brimming with heart-healthy mono and polyunsaturated fats which help lower bad cholesterol in the bloodstream. It is also an excellent source of fiber and protein. Vitamin E is a standout which is a fat-soluble vitamin and antioxidant that protects our cell membranes from free radical damage. Vitamin E is also needed for the structural and functional maintenance of skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle.

Maple Syrup: Maple syrup is a great sweetener alternative to refined sugar. It boasts nutrients like calcium, iron, zinc and manganese.

2 eggs
3 cups almond flour
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips

-Preheat oven to 325 F.
-In a large bowl, beat eggs. Next add mashed banana and maple syrup. Combine throughly.
-In a medium bowl, stir together almond flour, baking powder and chocolate chips. Add to wet mixture and combine throughly.
-Add batter to a greased bread pan and bake for 35-45 minutes.
