This girl is more excited about school than you have ever been about anything

It's finally back-to-school season -- dress codes are being challenged, seniors are planning pranks and little kids are more excited than you could imagine.

Enter Zoe Broussard, the psyched-up, pro-school hero you never knew you needed. And surprisingly, this is a first day of school shot and not the cover of a mixtape.

Zoe's mom, Sharvonne Broussard, told BuzzFeed News that this iconic snap was captured on her brother's first day of high school.

"She was more excited than he was — she actually wanted to stay at school with him," her mom told BuzzFeed News. "I said, 'OK Zoe, let's take a first day of school picture,' and the pose you see is what she gave me."

Broussard sent the photo to her niece, who tweeted it and launched Zoe's viral stardom.

The best part of all of this is that Zoe's passion for school didn't fade by day two.

Broussard didn't expect the photo to be so successful, but for the sake of other kids, she's happy it is.

"Now that this picture has gotten such a huge response, I hope that other parents will show it to their small children in hopes that it will make their little ones excited about going to school just like Miss Zoe," she told BuzzFeed News.
