World's richest people lose $41 billion after Trump win

As election returns started to come in on Tuesday night, the stock market began to plummet with the possibility of a Trump presidency. With Trump as our president-elect, the world's richest people are assessing the financial damages.

Bloomberg reports that the world's richest people lost a collective $41 billion right after Trump's win.
Carlos Slim, Mexico's richest person and the fifth-richest person in the world, lost 9.2% of his fortune, $5.1 billion after the peso dove 12% to a record low.
Eva Gonda Rivera, Mexico's fourth-richest person also lost $487 million. The 10 Mexican billionaires on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index lost a collective $6.5 billion. However, U.S. billionaires had the biggest dollar loss, falling $9.3 billion.
The panic appears to be short-lived though, as now Wall Street is showing it doesn't fear a President Trump.
