Miranda Lambert praised for 'adorable' rare pic of husband Brendan McLoughlin: Look!

Updated

Miranda Lambert posted just her second photo ever of husband, Brendan McLoughlin, on Thursday, and her fans were totally here for it.

In a three-photo gallery post on Instagram, the country crooner shared that she and her husband of four months are hoping to get two stray dogs that showed up to their farm adopted by bringing them to CMA Fest next month.

"Meet Smoke and Bandit! They showed up at the farm last week and we’re bringing them to #CMAFest to get adopted. No vacancy in our Mutt Motel! #FarmLife," she captioned the three black-and-white photos. "Register at MuttNation.com to join us at the #MuttNationMarch on June 6 in Nashville to save more pups like them!!"

The first photo shows Lambert kissing one of the dogs, the second photo shows the two dogs adorably sitting next to one another and the third photo shows McLoughlin holding one dog in each hand while wearing a t-shirt from the celeb favorite Dogpound gym in New York City.

To say that fans loved the photos would be an understatement.

"Such cuties!!!! And your hubby is adorable!!" one fan wrote, while another exclaimed, "a man who loves miranda lambert AND puppies >>>>."

A slew of other commenters praised the couple for advocating for dogs, calling their work "just amazing."

This is just the second photo of McLoughlin that Lambert has ever shared. The country star secretly married the NYPD officer back in January and announced news of their nuptials one month later, in February.

"In honor of Valentine's Day I wanted to share some news," she captioned a photo from their wedding. "I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for.... me. ❤️#theone"

Before announcing that she had gotten married again, Lambert hadn't even divulged that she was dating McLoughin, who she met while he was on duty on Times Square and she was making an appearance alongside her band, Pistol Annies, on "Good Morning America," which tapes there.

Since news of their marriage was made public, shocking details emerged about McLoughlin's relationship history, which included welcoming a newborn child with a woman that he allegedly cheated on his then-fiancée with -- days before meeting Lambert.

Last month, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 2019 ACM Awards, posing alongside one another for photographers and then sitting in the front row during the ceremony. During one of her performances at the awards show, Lambert seemingly shaded ex-husband, Blake Shelton, by changing the lyrics to one of her songs.
