O.J. Simpson weighs in on rumor he's Khloe Kardashian's dad

O.J. Simpson assured he's not Khloe Kardashian's real father — shooting down a long-running conspiracy theory.

The former football star made the declaration over the weekend when a reporter asked him if congratulations were in order following Kardashian's pregnancy announcement.

"Congratulations to her, but trust me I have nothing to do with it," Simpson told a TMZ cameraman in Las Vegas. "I would be proud if I had anything to do with it, but I don't."

Simpson was close friends with Robert Kardashian, who was part of the former athlete's legal defense team in his infamous 1995 murder trial. Robert Kardashian died in 2003.

Kardashian's four kids with Kris Jenner — Khloe, Kourtney, Kim and Rob — were school-aged children at the time.

Simpson, 70, and his daughter Sidney both laughed when the TMZ reporter first asked if he deserved to be congratulated.

"Well for Bob, God bless his soul, yeah," Simpson said. "But I don't know for me. I don't think for me. I have nothing to do with it."

Khloe has addressed the conspiracy multiple times in the past, including in October 2016 when an Instagram commenter wrote, "I don't know why but you look like white in this picture."

Kardashian responded: "I don't know ... Some days I'm OJs daughter. Others I'm Roberts daughter."

She also said during a 2012 appearance on the talk show "The Insider" that she didn't believe the conspiracy.

"I would hope if I'm half black and white, I would be a little tanner than (my siblings)," Kardashian said at the time. "I don't know where these stories come from. But hey, you never know."

A former prison guard at the Lovelock Correctional Center — where Simpson was incarcerated on armed robbery and kidnapping charges from 2008 to 2017 — told the Daily Mail in 2016 that Simpson would be willing to take a paternity test if Kardashian visited him.
