'Glee' star Naya Rivera arrested on domestic battery

“Glee” star Naya Rivera was arrested for assaulting her husband as they took their son for a walk Saturday night in West Virginia, according to authorities.

The 30-year-old actress is accused of hitting hubby Ryan Dorsey, 34, in the head while spending the Thanksgiving weekend in his hometown of Chesapeake, a police source said.

Dorsey gave cell phone video of the assault to Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office deputies, WSAZ-TV reports.

Rivera was wearing a baggy hooded sweatshirt, leggings, slide sandals and handcuffs when deputies walked her into a Kanawha County magistrate court just after midnight.

The judge mispronounced Rivera’s last name during the brief appearance. She quietly tried to correct him, but soon gave up.

Rivera was arraigned on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge and released to her father-in-law on a $1,000 bond. She was silent as she left the courthouse in Charleston, about 10 miles north of Chesapeake.

The source said Rivera is allowed to leave the state as the case proceeds.

Rivera filed for divorce from the "Ray Donovan" actor in 2016 but called off their separation in October to continue taking care of their child together. The couple tied the knot after three months of dating in 2014..
