Serena Williams reveals she had 'a lot of complications' as she shares first photo of her newborn daughter

Serena Williams and fiancé Alexis Ohanian shared a video documenting Williams' pregnancy on Wednesday, revealing their newborn daughter's name -- and sharing the first-ever photo of her!

At the end of the compilation of Snapchats, photos and hilarious moments between the couple, the tennis great is shown holding her newborn daughter in blankets, as she explains what they're up to and that the birthing process wasn't easy for her.

"So we're leaving the hospital after six, seven days," she says. "It's been a long time. We had a lot of complications, but look what we got! We got a baby girl!"

Though it's unclear what those complications were, exactly, both Serena and her baby look happy and healthy in the surprise clip.

The end of the 2-minute video reveals that the couple's first child together is named Alexis Olympia Ohanian, Jr. and weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces when she was born on Sept. 1, 2017. Number of grand slam titles to her name? One.

(Serena Williams won the Australian Open in January when she was 8 weeks pregnant.)

After releasing the video, Williams followed up with an Instagram photo of herself holding her adorable little girl.
