Ben Affleck has a new girlfriend!

The "Batman" actor is "in the early stages" of his relationship with "Saturday Night Live" producer Lindsay Shookus, E! News reports.

The pair, who have yet to confirm their relationship, have been trying to keep their romance out of the public eye for now and are simply enjoying each other's company.

"It's more than a summer fling," a source told E! News. "They are having fun and care for each other. It's early and they are taking it slow."

According to the site, Affleck and Shookus recently spent some time together in London, where Affleck has been working. They stepped out for a cute date night to see the play Ferryman. More recently, though, the new couple enjoyed a dinner date on Thursday in Los Angeles and E! obtained photos from the outing.

The news comes a couple months after Affleck and his ex Jennifer Garner revealed that they would be going through with their divorce, after two years of will-they-won't-they rumors about a possible reconciliation between the two stars. The friendly exes are still frequently photographed out and about together, as they continue to make an effort to successfully co-parent for the sake of their three children.

Affleck and Garner initially announced their separation nearly two years ago, though, after it was revealed that the actor was having an affair with the family's nanny. He also allegedly struggled with substance abuse and briefly checked into a treatment facility earlier this year.
