Pregnant Serena Williams looks stunning in the nude on the cover of Vanity Fair

Serena Williams took it all off this week for a Vanity Fair cover story, and needless to say, she was absolutely glowing.

The tennis champion, who is pregnant with her first child, dazzled in a set of nude photos as she cradled and let her growing baby belly take the spotlight. The 35-year-old athlete shared several of the photos on her Instagram account from the August issue, and she seemed extremely happy with the results.

In the cover photo, Williams, is nude and holding her baby bump, while covering up her assets. She is wearing a delicate necklace around her baby bump and her hair is flying behind her. The focus of the photo is on her stunning silhouette.

In another shot, Williams is posing from the other side and her hair is back in a pretty braid. The gorgeous photo showed off her athletic figure.

Williams got engaged to Reddit cofounder, Alexis Ohanian, in December 2016 and the pair seem very excited about becoming first-time parents and getting married.

"I knew it was coming. I was like, 'Serena, you're 35, you're ready. This is what you want,'" she said about her engagement during her interview with Vanity Fair. However, she admitted she didn't initially expect to become a mom so quickly.

After a few days of avoiding taking a pregnancy test, the athlete decided to go for it. "I'll take it just because (a) to prove you wrong and (b) because it's fun, whatever," she said. "It's like a joke. Why not?"

Williams admitted, she was so sure she wasn't expecting that she forgot to even look at the results.

"An hour and a half later, I went back to the bathroom and I totally forgot about it because it was impossible for me....So I went back to get dressed and I went back in the bathroom and I was like, 'Oh yeah, that test,'" she explained. Naturally, shock set it.

Serena said she "did a double take and her heart dropped. Like literally it dropped."

Now approximately 7 months later, she said she's still getting used to the word "mom."

"I don't know what to do with a baby. I have nothing....I've done absolutely nothing for the baby room," she told the magazine. "If you would have told me last year in October or November that I would have a baby, not be pregnant but have a baby, I would have thought you were the biggest liar in the world. This is kind of how I am right now. This is happening sooner than later, and it's going by so fast.
