Mary-Louise Parker’s nanny arrested, accused of stealing thousands from ‘Weeds’ star


Apparently it's true; you just can't find good help these days. Just ask Mary-Louise Parker.

A nanny working for the "Weeds" star has been arrested on multiple charges, accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the actress, the New York Daily News reports.

A spokesman for the New York Police Department confirmed the arrest of Amanda Hosten-St. Louis, 33, on Monday, on charges of grand larceny, identity theft, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by TheWrap, Hosten-St. Louis used Parker's debit card to make two withdrawals of more than $3,000 each from the actress' bank account. However, according to the Daily News, Hosten-St. Louis — identified as Hoston-St. Louis by the publication — has "been linked to more than $30,000 in transactions dating back to 2016."

Parker has two children — a son, William, born in 2004, and daughter Caroline, who she adopted from Ethiopia as a baby in 2007.

Hosten-St. Louis, who was released on her own recognizance, is due in court August 1.
