Nicki Minaj says she plans to remain celibate for the next year -- maybe

Nicki Minaj is seemingly dating rapper Nas, but don't jump to any conclusion: According to Nicki herself, things are very PG-rated between the two as she plans to remain celibate for the next year.

Nicki made the surprising admission on "Ellen" Tuesday -- and the audience wasn't quite sure how to respond. After Ellen Degeneres asked if she's had sleepovers with Nas, Nicki responded affirmatively -- but clarified that she hasn't done "the nasty" with him because she wants to go a year without sex. "I hate men," she said.

The audience seemed noticeably uncomfortable, laughing awkwardly before applauding.

If you're impressed by her dedication to abstinence, don't get too excited:"I might make an exception to the rule for [Nas], because he's so dope," she said.

"We're both from Queens. He is the king of queens and I'd like to think I am the queen of Queens," she said. "He is a rap legend. I have a lot of respect for him. And he's cute too."

The reveal puts a wrench in fans' hopes that Nicki is quietly dating Drake, who called her the "love of his life" at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards. Drake has been more than open about his longtime crush on Nicki, saying on more than one occasion that he'd definitely marry her if he had the chance.
