Nicole Kidman shades Giada De Laurentiis' cooking on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Nicole Kidman hilariously shaded Giada De Laurentiis' cooking on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Wednesday.

During a laugh-filled cooking segment, Kidman was taste-testing the focaccia bread that the Food Network star had pre-prepared for the show when she revealed her true feelings about the food.

"It's a little tough!" she said as she bit into the bread.

"Nicole, it's been sitting there for, like, five hours!" De Laurentiis exclaimed with a laugh. "I hate doing these things for that reason."

"I know you're not meant to criticize, but ... it's a little tough!" Kidman responded with some side-eye before taking the bread out of her mouth. "Do not let my kids see that I did that."

Of course, De Laurentiis deserves some slack, because she had to prepare the baked bread way ahead of her actual segment, so it probably was sitting there for hours uncovered before Kidman took her ill-advised bite. Maybe it's time to rethink some of these cooking segments?!
